MISSING: Donald Messier

Donald Messier was an avid NASCAR fan and a Vermont native; he loved spending time with family and friends, but 15 years ago… he vanished and no one has seen or heard from him since.

MURDERED: Cheryl Peters

Nearly 30 years later, the case of a murdered mother leaves her family grieving with no closure. 42-year-old Cheryl Peters was found dead with a single gunshot wound through her head.

November 17th, 2001 was a day Sandy Webster will never forget the day she learned her big brother, 28-year-old Dean Webster, was gone. Webster was found shot to death in the backyard of the home he was building off Sky Hollow Road.

MISSING: MARBLE ARVIDSON

17-year-old Marble Arvidson was last seen at the home he was staying in on Route 9 in Brattleboro, Vermont. He left a note behind saying he’d be back, but ten years later he’s never been seen or heard from again.

MURDERED: Barbara Agnew

January 10th, 1987, was the last time anyone saw Barbara Agnew alive. She was traveling back to Norwich from a day of skiing at Stratton Mountain. The 39-year-old pulled off into a rest stop on interstate I-91 in eastern Vermont near Hartford.

MURDERED: Angela Blouin

The body was found May 30, 1993, face-up underneath a few trees on the side of Crawford Farm Road in Derby, Vermont. The young woman was 21-year-old Angela Blouin. According to Vermont State Police, there was evidence that a struggle had occurred prior to her death.

MURDERED: Christopher Muir Davis

On April 16, 2012, city workers in St. Albans were preparing the city pool for summer when they stumbled upon a crime scene: a body floating in the murky water of the half-filled pool. The victim was 22-year-old Christopher Muir Davis, who was reported missing by his mother more than two weeks earlier.

On May 21st, 1984 the body of Heidi Martin was found in a brook behind the Hartland Elementary School.

On January 3, 1981, in Burlington, Vermont, a lifeless, snow-covered body was discovered in the driveway of 62 Brookes Avenue. It was 35-year-old Angela Belisle, shot to death and left in sub-zero temperatures, and frozen to the ground.

39-year-old Joan Rogers was originally reported missing on July 16th, 1977, but she was found the following day.

On July 7, 2005, Terry Magnan discovered the lifeless body of one of his employees on his farm in Sheldon, Vt. It was 33-year-old Kenneth Jerome, who had been shot to death while feeding the calves.

On April 1, 1982, in Northfield, Vermont four schoolchildren were waiting for their bus when they saw a family dog dragging a garbage bag.

It’s Burlington Police Department’s oldest cold case: a young school teacher found brutally murdered in her Brookes Avenue apartment in Burlington. Rita Curran was only 24-years-old when her roommate came upon her body.

Lynda Moore, was home alone on April 15th,1986 when her husband, Steven Moore, came home to a gruesome scene.
